The expansion plan of professional computer polygraph (PCP):

• The universal computer polygraph “Diagnoz” have been adopted by Federal Security Service of Russian Federation (FSS) since 1999. The model of polygraphs has been improved with every passing year.
• “AREOPAG-CENTR” LLC got a right for supplying the complete devices for PCP “Diagnoz” type which had been used by FSS in 2003.
• The expansion plan of computer “polygraph” was worked out in 2003 and is valid till 2009 and includes several steps.
• 1 step (2004): “AREOPAG-CENTR” LLC starts to produce computer polygraphs model “PIK- 02” which was concerned to “Diagnoz” type. “AREOPAG-CENTR” LLC also got a right for supplying these gadgets for Federal Security Service of Russian Federation.
• The name of “PIK” polygraph (Polygraph of the Institute of Criminalistics) shows a considerable contribution of the Institute’s specialists in producing the equipment.
• The conditional name of computer polygraph “PIK-01”-“professional polygraph” is intended for realization of the psychological method of “lie detection” applied in police work, investigating and personal agencies and for necessity of the FSS and private regular companies. • 2 step (2005): “AREOPAG-CENTR” LLC produced and released an output of a new model of computer polygraph- PCP “PIK-01A” and began to supply it to the FSS of Russian Federation.
• PCP “PIK-01A”- with its conditional name of “expert polygraph”-was created specially for fulfilling interrogation using the polygraphs in processual conditions (as a psychophysical expertise also).
•  PCP “PIK-01A”nowadays is the only domestically produced polygraph which allows demonstrating on the screen and saving in the memory the polygrams and video recorders of the examined person during the test at the same time. (To see more information use “Technical description”)
• 3 step (2006): “AREOPAG-CENTR” LLC has released an output of a new developed model of”. PCP “PIK- 02”
• PCP “PIK- 02” conditionally named as “research polygraph” was created specially for fulfilling interrogations using polygraphs in processual conditions as a psychophysical expertise also and for fulfilling scientific research of “lie detection”.
• PCP “PIK- 02” nowadays is the only domestic produced computer polygraph which allows showing stimulus materials, photos and text of questions on the additional screen during the interrogational process.
• On the next step of “Expansion plan” an “intellectual polygraph” is planned to be produced. It will minimize the subjective assess of the results according to a new algorithm of processing the results of interrogation.
